That isn't the case with this cleansing balm. It does a great job of cleaning and an even better job of leaving my face feeling moisturized after I wash it off. If you have oily skin, I'm not sure this is the product for you, but for an older gal like me...It leaves my face feeling cleaned and moisturized so I will continue to use it!"
